Regent Village Easter Family Fun Day

Regent Village Easter Family Fun Day
14 May 2011

A crowd of over 300 children, parents, grandparents and friends turned out to take part in egg and spoon races, Easter egg hunts, live music from David Bowen’s Arrow Trio and to generally enjoy the day’s festivities. Volunteers from The Regent Grand Hotel also provided face painting for little children and Easter goodies and all the shops got into the mood with their Easter themed decorations.

The main event of the day was the Easter prize Giveaway – over $2000 worth of prizes. Customers who spent $50 or more in any of the participating stores a week prior to the event, were entitled to enter a draw to win this fantastic prize; including a 2 night stay at The Regent Grand, original artwork from Making Waves, $150 gift card from Philosophy and $100 Art Provo, FOTTAC’s Bambara rum goodies, Rock it hot fitness classes, Island Sportique’s soccer goodies, a donation of a snorkel tour from Where When How, dinner for two at The Vix Bar and Grill and a fabulous Fragrance Basket from JAIS.

The winner of the ticket, drawn from over 400 entries by Chanda Tolani, from JAIS jewelers was Andrew Moss. Andrew, a TCI resident and Head Bartender for the last two years at the Wymara Resort, spent his $50 at Vino Tiempo and was awarded the whole haul. Contgrats go out to Andrew from everyone at The Regent Village.

This was not just a great day of fun and shopping for all the family, but it encouraged locals and visitors into the Village to see the diversity of shops, food and entertainment available to them. The Regent Village will continue to promote itself as “The Heart of Provo”, the place to shop dine and entertain!
